Day 9 Monday 16th April
We had to collect the members of the team from various location where they were staying and we had an extra car following us that day with a Shetlander, a South African and a Canadian (He heard about the Connecting Scotland in Ethiopia and wanted to be part of it) - Wow. We proceeeded through Ellon to Mintlaw where we stopped and prayed with the Clan Gathering Team had had our travelling cross in the centre - as this is the theme of this years Clan. The cross that is travelling the nation will be on view at Clan. We then headed to St Combs via Peterhead where a number of folks were waiting for us and we had a prayer march and declared Jesus again in the streets of St Combs. This North east corner of Scotland has know revival in the past and we all long to see the ancient wells spring up once again. We went on then to Fraserburgh were lunch was provided for us by a lovely couple before praying in the square in Fraserburgh. This was when I realised that the guy from Canada in our team that day was Jock Troup's grandson - the very man whom God used to bring revival to the north east corner we were in. We stood on the very spot where his grandfather preached when he first arrive in Frasburgh - thank you God. His grandfather saw a vision of a man praying for him to come to Fraserburgh - he was obedient to the vision and came up from Great Yarmouth - he started to preach from this spot we were standing on and the rain came on and he proceeded to go to the Baptist Church where he met a group of deacons coming out with a letter ready to post to ask him to come to Fraserburgh and the man holding the letter was the man he had seen in his vision. How incredible is this!!!!!!We were just having an amazing day. I filmed an interview with his grandson - worth buying the DVD just for this. After this we went on to Rosehearty then Gardenstown where a good number of folks were waiting to pray - what a spectacular view standing on the balcony at the back of this church and much prayer was made for the village and the surrounding district. MacDuff was our next stop then on to Banff for our evening rally at Harvest Centre. This was well attended and after a great time of worship shared the word on Unity.
And so to bed - keep praying and adding you comments as it encourages us to read them.
Every Blessing Bert

Hi Bert and Team,
I just wanted to express my joy in what God is doing in the North of Scotland in your prayer drive/walking.
Was really excited to hear about Jock Troup's grandson travelling over from Canada to be part of the prayer walk team. And to know you were all praying and standing on the very spot Jock Troup's prayed for revival in his time.
I have been prayer backing you all from just before the walk started in Yell, Shetland Isles.
Part of my praying and praising God for you all in this mammoth task of prayer walking and driving from the North to the very south and borders of Scotland has led me to sing marching and battle hymns and songs. Songs like "Onward Christian Soldiers.", and "Soldiers of Christ Arise" plus "Stand up Stand up for Jesus." and "The lord has given a land of good things." Chorus is "With the high praises of God in our mouth,
And a two-edged sword in our hand,
We'll march right on to the victory side,
Right into Canaan's land."
And as I have been singing these battle songs I have seen Jesus marching along with you all and pouring his blessing on the places you have prayer walked through and on the residents and businesses in each place you have been and prayed for.
I feel that the Lord is bringing Spiritual prosperity to Scotland and as you make contact with the usaved through the God letter they will be drawn into his presence and take Jesus as their Saviour and Lord.
Many blessings to you all as you continue to march and drive on through Scotland.
Hi Bert and team,
It is so exciting and encouraging to read about what you are doing, and about what God is doing.I am prayin Psalm 138 for you and with you each morning. Bless you all, Anne.
Thankyou soooo much for coming to share your vision with us in Banchory. The Lord through you has encouraged us and has inspired the setting up of a new prayer group to use your 'praying together' book as we pray for our area and nation. This will feed into a prayer diary which will be put on the web and distributed to our home prayer warriors.
May the Lord bless you and keep you safe. May you know His strenthening each morning as you seek to serve Him in this wonderful way. Will pray specifically that you will be protected from fatigue.
With love from your brothers and siters in Christ

Keep going Bert & Co!
We are still basking in blessing following your walk through Orkney,I keep hearing from folk who have had prompts or answers to prayer. No surprise that you are making links with past revivals, God has such a good memory! One lady here during the prayer walk kept getting prompted to pray at a derelict graveyard and when she was finally obedient, God showed her all the family names of those who had lived through the revivals and she is now able to pray for their descendents on the island.
Bless your pathway south.
Pastor Bert and All,
So inspiring to hear of all that is happening. I am a teacher for Special Needs children in the States and sometimes it seems as though I am so caught up in paperwork and planning and striving to make a difference that it seems all for naught. But God is timeless and spaceless and ageless, so who knows how we are really connected through this thing called Prayer? It is good to take a step back from my little microcosm and see God at work in a Mighty and yet simple way of just bringing people together in His name. Thank you for your willingness to put yourself "out there" for His sake.
Your Sister,
