Argyle and Oban

Day 14 Saturday 21st April

Our ‘digs’ for the night were right beside Loch Ettive in the most beautiful surroundings (Thanks Hillary – you were a great hostess) We had a n early start to reach Kilmartin for a praise/prayer time. This was something special. As I was sharing a word from Psalm 68 a word was spoken about fulfilling a recent prophetic word and the whole church and the team walked around the building seven times with banners and flags, singing and praising, and the seventh time in silence then proclaimed the name of Jesus. Something was broken today and we wait to hear about the wonderful things God is going to do in Kilmartin. It was then onto Lochgilphead where we met a group waiting to pray. Next stop was Adrishig where we were supposed to meet in the church but instead went into the church hall and landed in a jumble sale – I can still seethe old dears faces as I thought we were in the right place rereand launched into praying for them – there cups of tea remained between hand and mouth wondering who this guy was. Our next stop was Campbeltown where a good number of intercessors were waiting for us. Our time with them was significant and there were leaders from different churches in the area present – we were able to pray into their lives. It was then a straight run back to Oban where there were a group waiting for us on top of Pulpit Hill look over all of Oban then we all went up to McCaig’s Tower and prayed again. The next part was a prayer march along the Main Street before going for tea and then back in for the evening rally. This was a pack-out and God moved in that meeting that night with a great deal of ministry taking place. The rally was from 8.00pm until 9.00pm but we everybody was still there until 11.00pm. And so to bed – another long but blessed day.
