Day 13 Friday 20th April
I had a good nights sleep in my own bed (about 5 Hours) then Anne Stewart drove me back up to join the team at Auchterarder. We had a 7.30am start and our first stop of the day was Comrie where we met in a car park with some folks and prayed at 8.00 in the morning. After this we travelled on to Crianlarich to pick up a new member of the team – Paul Woodhouse who will be travelling with us through to Glasgow. It was breakfast in Tyndrum then on to Dalmally where we stopped and prayed for a Christian Ministry there – one of their ministries is to provide meals for orphans in Africa called ‘Mary’s Meals – many thousands of meals are provided everyday to orphans and street children. We met a man in Taynuilt and prayed with him at the side of the road. On to Oban via Connel then onto the ferry for Mull. We were met at Craigure byt two cars who transported us down to catch the ferry to Iona where some of the team met a small group of intercessors and we had the most extraordinary prayer time. The rest of the team just praised and prayed in the Abbey. Came back off Iona then were rushed up the road to a 5.00pm Rally in Craigure (we were 25mins late) where after praising I shared a word on Unity and the Holy Spirit moved to repair broken relationships. We then boarded the ferry to bring us back to the mainland at 7.00pm. As I boarded the ship I noticed a woman out of the side of my eye who looked like Jenny (my wife) and to my great surprise it was – we had a great laugh together and tears about Jenny being there. It was the best surprise I could have hoped for and we spent the next two days together. I now know why I had been given a double room with an en site instead of staying in my motor home.
We have travelled a few miles today but again another wonderful blessed day.
Bert.
