Day 39 Wednesday 16th May
After a good night’s sleep it was off on another journey and Auchterarder was our first place this morning. We were met by a group who would walk with us from the west to the east of the town – stopping at many locations on the walk. I have been unable to walk much these past couple of day because of a fairly swollen right knee and tendons which are tight and very sore. I would appreciate prayer for this as I want to finish in victory and not just limping home. Next it was Aberfeldy where we had a lunch break and then prayed at the geographical centre of Scotland. Suzanne Dougal and Chris McCrossan joined our team for today – and then we came over the ‘Sma Glen’ into Crieff. A good number were waiting in the Square we had a good time of praise, prayer and the proclamation of the Word, before moving up to the Logus Youth Centre and we all prayed in there and had a real sense of the Presence of God. Tea as next then off to the evening rally in the local Baptist Church – this was fairly well filled and the worship was special – the team shared – then I was able to preach from Acts Ch 1 and there was a good response at the end – most of the congregation took a step out on to the aisle to make a declaration of intent in response to the Word preached. This was a Holy Spirit charged night. Another amazing night with God. What will He do tomorrow????
