Day 36 Sunday 13th May
It is Sunday again – the start of our 6th week – I can hardly believe I have been on the road for over 5 weeks. We are spending this morning in East Mains Baptist Church in East Kilbride and we arrived there after stopping and praying in Strathaven. The team were allowed to share in the morning service and the service was refreshing to us all. Blantyre was next before moving on to Uddingston where we were greatly surprised as 55 folks turned up to walk from Uddingston to Bothwell – this was a tremendous witness in both towns. Our last port of call today is Motherwell where again over 50 were waiting for us in a car park to march through the town to an afternoon rally in a local church. This was a good witness again to the town and the rally was good with worship, bring them up to date with the journey and open prayer for the nation and Motherwell. They also provided a meal for the team. Wow !!! we were finished for the day by 6.00pm. I am catching up writing the blog for the past 6 days while the team is in various states of comatose. We will all sleep well tonight and we have the luxury of a long lie tomorrow – breakfast not until 8.30am – must watch and not let the team get soft.
