An Easier Day

Day 29 Sunday 6th May

We had a reasonably long lie as we were going to River of Life Church in Dumfries which had a 10.30am start time. This was a very lively church and we had a wonderful time of worship. I was allowed to share for a short time before Mark Smith – the Pastor brought the Word. It was then off to Annan where a number of believers were waiting for us in a local church to pray. People came in during the prayer time and eventually had a large prayer circle and again it is great when the local people pray for their own community. Next stop was Gretna where we prayed and then passed on to Lockerbie where a small group of Christians were waiting to meet up with us. This was in a Brethren Assemble Hall and we had a wonderful time of sharing and prayer. It was then off the our ‘digs’ for the night and an evening meal together. We were joined by Mari and Duncan Graham from New Zealand who will be with us for the rest of the trip. After dinner Mari and I sat and worked on the rest of the programme as far as we could. Thanks again Mari for all your hard work. And then off to bed – this had been an easier day but still delighted to go to bed.
