Still in the Borders

Day 31 Tuesday 8th May

We started off this morning with a prayer breakfast in Selkirk followed with a prayer walk around the town – including visiting a Dry Bar for the young folks. Next it was Galashiels where a good number was waiting for us in the Square and we had a wonderful time of praise and prayer including a proclamation of the Word. Melrose was our next stop and after proclaiming the Word in a car park with a good number of prayer warriors before going for lunch then it was a visit to the Abbey where we had the most amazing time of worship and prayer. We then moved on to Newton St Boswells where we prayed outside the Scottish Borders Council Headquarters. Our last place today is Kelso. We did a prayer walk including a visit to the Abbey where again we had a wonderful time of worship including singing Amazing Grace and the Lord’s My Shepherd – all the team sing in four part harmony – amazing sound. After a meal we had an open air rally from the back of a 40’ trailer – around 60 people stood in sunshine although it was a bit cold.
